FOCAL Speakers

FOCAL-JM Lab is one of the world's most respected loudspeaker manufacturers, with 30 years experience and no less than twelve international patents in speaker design and driver technology. Focal innovations include dual voice-coils, multi-layer cone material and inverted dome tweeters. The factory is located in France, at Saint-Etienne near Lyon, and produces both home speakers and car speakers. Most of the components used in Focal speakers are made in-house, giving Focal engineers the ability to quickly implement new ideas. Many components are still hand-made in the Focal factory & sound quality is the driving force of this company.

The reversed dome tweeter is a hallmark of Focal-JMlab. As a result of more than 29 years of development into a tweeter that could produce a high output, but without requiring high energy input and without increasing directivity.
